| Flint River Trail Raffle / Drawing - August 15, 2009 A raffle will be held in August at a Burlington Bee's game at Community Field for five prize packages. All raffle proceeds will be utilized for construction and completion of the Flint River Trail. Tickets may be purchased at Burlington Regional RecPlex, Bickel's Cycling and Fitness, or from Trail Committee members. |

Flint River Trail Kick-Off - April 24, 2008
The trail communications
committee held a press conference on April 24, 2008 to kick off the
fundraising campaign for the trail.
Speakers talked about the trail; what it is for,
where it will be,
who it is for, when it is going to be built and most importantly, why
we need it. Speakers included County and City officials and
supporters
of the trail from both private and public sectors.
